Top Evergreen Plants

We wanted to share some advice for anyone looking for a bit of evergreen plant inspiration for their garden. One of the biggest draws for evergreen plants is (hint the clue is in the name!) that they offer colour and coverage to your garden all year round. This can break up areas of your garden that may have mostly seasonal plants.

Here are our top favourite evergreen shrubs:

• Photinia / red robin (image 1 below) - This creates a great feature with striking red colour on new growth and then turns green.
  
• Pittosporum (image 2 below) - Available in a variety of colours and our favourite is the verigated version!
  
• Eunonymus (image 3 below) - Smaller height shrub but you can get it in taller versions too and comes in a variety of colours and verigated options.
  
• Pyracantha (image 4 below) - This is a prickly shrub and keeps a green foliage all year round. It has flowers in the spring and stunning red berries in the winter and is a great burglar deterrent!
  

There are of course a whole host of other evergreen shrubs out there that you can choose from, but these are just our favourites to give you some inspiration.
